The Tullibigeal Lake Cargelligo Sharks are based on the Lachlan River in prime wheat, sheep, and cattle producing area 590 km west of Sydney and can be reached via the Great Western or Mid-Western Highways. TLU Sharks encompasses the towns of Lake Cargelligo, Tullibigeal, Murrin Bridge, Euabalong, Naradhan and surrounding districts.
Lake Cargelligo is a feature of the region and when full the lake covers about 1500 hectares. This expanse of water has made it a popular sanctuary for Australian and migratory water birds and has created a perfect destination for fishing and water sports including skiing, sailing, jet skiing. Many good fishing spots can be found at and near Lake Cargelligo. Murray Cod is the most sought after fish in the nearby Lachlan River as well as Golden Perch and 'Redfin'.
