As one of the smallest Councils in the State of Victoria it is extremely important to us that our staff, contractors, and Councillors are focused on organisational performance, efficiency, and teamwork. We are conscious of making every dollar work for our community to deliver on the objectives, priorities, and goals in our Council Plan which are underpinned by our core values of innovation, technology, and sustainability.
Where a 1% rise imposed on our ratepayers only equates to around $50,000, financial savings we make can make a big difference. We undertake extensive community planning to identify the aspirations and goals of our community and then try to best leverage State and Federal Government funding avenues to achieve these.
