Townsville Runaways Netball Club Inc. was founded by Julie Marty, her sisters & friends in 1985.
Runnies (being our parochial name) has enjoyed many first grade senior leadingship success and many more representative fames and accolades.
Junior divisions were not a huge part of the club until the early 2000s when Julie’s youngest and only daughter started to play netty. Today Runnies is one of the largest clubs at TCNAI offering netball to 7 years olds & over 50s.
