Arguablly one of Northern Queenslands premier archery venues, The Townsville District Bowhunters is located on Bowhunters Road in Condon, on the western outskirts of Townsville.
Holding a strong affiliation with the Australian Bowhunters Association (ABA), the club aims to promote archery in many forms including field archery and bow hunting while embracing a strong code of ethics and fair play in all its activities.
Members and visitors enjoy their sport in a natural bush setting with events held on alternate weekends which include ABA paper target events as well as 3D target events. Club facilities include camping grounds, toilets, showers and light meals and refreshments being available at all times during the shoot schedule. Events are not restricted to the local club with regular tournaments being held at other clubs around Northern Queensland, throughout the state and all accross Australia as well as offering the oportunity to travel and shoot in many countries around the world.
