The Toowoomba Amateur Water Polo Association started in the early 1970s. Since then the Club has been the premier Water Polo Club on the Darling Downs with junior development held at the forefront all along. A number of Toowoomba players have advanced to represent Queensland in School Sport and Country Tournaments. The Club fields teams in every level of competition from Flippa Ball, Junior School age, to Senior players.
The Toowoomba Water Polo Club has a unique and solid culture – one of fun, collaboration and good sportsmanship. Many of our Club's members have been part of the club for generations, and we actively seek and encourage a sense of community and love for the game. Our mission is to coordinate the promotion and development of water polo at all levels in the Darling Downs region.
