Taekwondo is a martial art that originated in Korea over 2,000 years ago. It has evolved into a contemporary sport, even making its official debut as a medal sport in the Sydney Olympics in 2000. Taekwondo aims to develop the whole person and instils five important tenets: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit. Students at Thrive Taekwondo are encouraged to incorporate these principles into their practise, both on and off the mat.
At Thrive Taekwondo, the mission is to create an environment where students can grow, develop, and flourish to their full potential. Through quality teaching, capped class sizes, and a commitment to the tenets of taekwondo, Thrive Taekwondo aims to help students thrive physically, mentally, and socially.
