Tatiara Karting Club Inc is a sports club located in the District Council of Tatiara in Bordertown, South Australia. The club recently hosted the Australian Dirt Kart Titles event in October 2023, and they have other exciting feature events lined up, including the Limestone Coast 2-Day event on November 11th and 12th, 2023, and the Grand Annual Dirt Kart Masters 2-Day event on March 9th and 10th, 2024. They also have the Junior Kart Championship Series 2024, which will have its final round soon.
The club's track spans approximately 540 metres and offers a thrilling racing experience for both beginners and seasoned motoring enthusiasts. The track features a 70-metre straight section, two flowing 90-degree corners, and a fast-paced sweeping corner that challenges the drivers' skills and bravery. The track has been constructed using a compacted crushed limestone base and has a thick sand racing surface. This ensures that the track remains free of ruts and pot-holes, while also being well-equipped to handle rain.
The Tatiara Karting Club is proud of its family-friendly atmosphere and supportive community-focused culture. For those interested in visiting the track, it is conveniently located adjacent to the Dukes Highway in Bordertown, SA, and shares facilities with the Tolmer Speedway. To get to the track from within Bordertown, simply drive east along North Tce, turn left into Woolshed St, and continue on to Golf Course Rd (driving under the Tolmer Overpass / Dukes Hwy). Just before the railway crossing, turn into the Tolmer Speedway Complex on your left, and follow the road up to the track.
