The Tathra Beach Bowling Club, located in Bega Valley Shire Council, is a friendly and welcoming sports club on the Far South Coast. With over 70 years of history, the club has grown from a small tin shed with one green to now feature a 12 rink synthetic competition green and one grass green for barefoot bowls. The club has a moderate-sized clubhouse with all the latest amenities.
The Tathra Beach Bowling Club has a proud record of success on the green, with notable players such as Clyde Lemon, Steve Hunt, and Australian Representative James Reynolds. The club has achieved accomplishments like being the Open Pennant Grade 3 Runner-Up in 2022/23, the Ladies Grade 4 State Pennant Winning Team in 2021, and the Men's Grade 4 State Pennant Winning Team in 2018.
Aside from competitive bowling, the club also offers social bowls events for members and visitors. Wednesdays are reserved for mixed social bowls, with names in by 11 am and play starting at 12:30 pm. Thursdays are dedicated to ladies' social bowls, with names in by 9:15 am and play commencing at 10 am. Men's social bowls take place on Saturdays, with names in by 11 am and play starting at 12:30 pm.
Participants are encouraged to wear mufti attire.
