The Tasmanian University Rugby Union Football Club, known as the Red Men, was established in 1933 and recently celebrated its eightieth anniversary. It has a proud and storied history, winning numerous leadingships and having many great players pull on the Red Men jersey. In 2013, the University Mighty Twos defeated Taroona in the grand final to win the reserve grade topship.
