Sylvania Heights Football Club (SHFC) is a renowned sports club located in Sydney, Australia. The club caters to both junior and senior players who are passionate about football. SHFC offers a variety of programmes and opportunities for individuals to participate and develop their skills in a friendly and supportive environment.
One of the notable programmes organised by SHFC is the Junior Summer Soccer, which runs for 10 weeks from 9th October to 11th December. It includes different age groups, such as U6 and U7 (4v4) and U8-U12 (7v7), providing a platform for young players to engage in competitive yet enjoyable matches. Individual players can register, and the club will assign them to a team if necessary. The games take place on Mondays, starting from 5 pm.
All inquiries regarding the Junior Summer Soccer can be directed to Angie, the registrar, via email at registrar@sylvaniaheightssoccer. Org. au or by phone at 0479 134 108.
SHFC is grateful for the support it receives from its sponsors, who play a vital role in the club's financial stability. The club encourages its members and the local community to reciprocate this support by patronising these businesses.
To ensure effective communication and collaboration, SHFC provides a “Coach and Manager Pack” within the Team App. This pack contains all necessary information in PDF format. Coaches and managers can access this pack by visiting the “documents” section of the app. In case any additional assistance is required, the club's committee is readily available to help.
SHFC extends its best wishes to all coaches and managers for a successful season.
The club also publishes annual yearbooks to celebrate the achievements and milestones of the previous seasons. The 2021 and 2020 yearbooks can be accessed online via Issuu. These publications showcase the dedication and achievements of the club's players, coaches, and supporters, fostering a sense of pride and community within the SHFC family.
Exciting developments are taking place in senior club football within the Shire, and SHFC aspires to be a part of this growth. The club aims to participate in the invitation-only Shire top League Men's and Women's League, which will replace the current AA1/AA2 and Women's league competitions. While the competitions will be administered by the SSFA, local clubs, including SHFC, are actively promoting and supporting these events. High levels of commitment from both the Football Club and the Youth Club pave the way for SHFC's engagement in this elite grassroots competition.
To express interest in participating, individuals can email President@sylvaniaheightssoccer. au, providing their full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and confirming their club and playing grade.
Moreover, SHFC organises two summer soccer competitions at Box Rd Sylvania Heights. These competitions cater to over 40 men's and mixed teams, as well as under 9 to under 12 age groups. Registration for the summer soccer leagues can be done online via the playfootball. com.
