Sydney Olympic Park Authority is responsible for the venue management of the Sports Centre.
The Sports Centre is part of the Authority's Sports Venues division, and involves the successful daily management of facilities to meet the competition and training needs of athletes and the recreational and fitness needs of the community, thereby contributing to the advancement of a healthy, social and cultural lifestyle for the people of NSW.
Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre is Sydney’s number one venue for regional, national and international sport and a venue for an almost unlimited variety of entertainment, corporate, community and leisure activities.
The Centre incorporates two interconnected event spaces, the main Arena and the Hall of Legends, both of which are fitted with polished wooden floors and flexible draping to suit each event. The 2016 square metre Arena has fixed and retractable tiered seating for up to 4500 people, with the ability to scale down to as few as 500 for smaller events and a wide variety of configurations to suit most event types.
Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre is home to the NSW Swifts in the ANZ Netball Championships.
