Contemporary dance encourages self expression, natural movement and personal interpretation.
This 8 week course will give the adult dancer an extended learning experience, and establishes a strong technique and understanding of Contemporary dance.
Develop the foundations of contemporary dance, including the correct alignment of the body, the use of the spine, the articulation of joints, coordination, rolling and floor work, weight transfer, leg extensions and basic positions with the feet.
Participants will acquire a better sense of their bodies, spatial awareness and a kinetic sense of moving through the space.
