Sydney Academy of Gymnastics is Western Sydney's top gymnastics club. As the NSW Woman's Artistic Club of the year, and fostering the NSW Woman's Artistic Coaching Team of the year, Sydney Academy of Gymnastics is dedicated to delivering successful gymnastics programmes to gymnasts of all ages and abilities.
The club offers world-class gymnastics facilities and has accredited coaching staff with more than 35 years of experience in guiding young athletes to their personal best. They are committed to the growth and development of young children through the sport of gymnastics.
With gymnastics programmes ranging from pre-school to senior international, and athletes representing both NSW and Australia, Sydney Academy of Gymnastics caters to gymnasts of all ages and abilities. They are trusted by the community and have a strong reputation for providing high-quality gymnastics training that supports the personal development of each individual athlete.
The director and head coach of Sydney Academy of Gymnastics is Skye Benson. Skye has been involved in gymnastics for over 35 years, initially as a competitor and then as a coach, judge, and administrator. She has coached gymnasts from recreational right through to Junior International and has coached both NSW and Australian representative teams. Skye has held positions on regional and state coaching and judging committees and is currently a member of the Gymnastics Australia WAG Commission and NSW Sports Management Committee.
Her experience, hard work, and dedication have been instrumental in driving the success of Sydney Academy of Gymnastics.
Sydney Academy of Gymnastics has a strong track record of success, with the club winning the overall National Club Championships title in 2014 and 2015. They continue to strive for excellence in gymnastics and are committed to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for all gymnasts.
