The Swan River Rowing Club is based in Perth Western Australia. The club has a long history having started in 1885 and is the second oldest club in Western Australia.
Our clubhouse is located next to the Canning Bridge in Applecross, just south of the Perth CBD. There are currently over 200 active and social members of the club.
The objectives of the club are to promote and encourage the sport of rowing and to provide all members with the best possible club experience irrespective of age, gender and competence. The Swan River Rowing Club is dedicated to providing the best rowing facilities and equipment in W.A. We actively encourage the sport of rowing through a number of school recruitment programs.
Over the years we have produced many international level athletes and coaches including seven who represented Australia at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
