Studio V School of Dance is a friendly and supportive sports club located in Heidelberg, Melbourne. With over 21 years of experience, Studio V aims to teach children, teens, and aspiring artists about the beauty of dance while developing their coordination, rhythm, and confidence. The studio operates in three fully equipped locations complete with mirrors, barres, heating, and cooling systems.

Studio V follows the curriculum of the Southern Federation of Dance, a reputable organisation in Australia that supports the technical development of young dancers in their chosen genres. Whether students are looking for recreational dance classes or more production-based opportunities, Studio V offers a range of classes to suit all types of dance enthusiasts.

Students at Studio V have various opportunities to showcase their skills, including participation in class work, examinations, competitions, conventions, productions, summer school programmes, and the annual end-of-year concert. As a member of the Southern Federation of Dance, Studio V ensures that its students receive quality training and exposure to the dance community.

Led by Principal & Artistic Director Vassie Catalano, the Studio V faculty consists of professional creative personnel, performers, and instructors who bring creativity, inspiration, and a wealth of experience into the classroom. Each faculty member is dedicated to giving students the skills they need to transition from being mere students to aspiring artists and performers.

Additionally, Studio V offers an Assistant Teachers programme for students at Level 5 and above. This programme allows students to volunteer their time to assist dance teachers in junior classes. By participating, students gain firsthand experience in the running of a dance class and build essential life skills such as leadership, responsibility, and compassion.
