Located in the heart of Sydney's Inner West, Stanmore Hawks SC (now Inner West Hawks FC) is a prominent sports club with a rich history that stretches back to its foundation in 1978. Originally known as “Cyprus United,” the club was established by the Greek-Cypriot Community of Sydney as a way for young men to forge new friendships and pursue their passion for football in their new home of Australia.
At Stanmore Hawks, we take great pride in being the largest and most successful football club in Sydney's Inner West. With a commitment to continuous improvement and reaching the highest levels of the sport, we have built a reputation as a club that develops not only skilled players but also individuals of character. Our focus extends beyond the technical aspects of the game, emphasising values such as hard work, persistence, integrity, and respect both on and off the pitch.
Our senior teams currently compete in the NSW NPL3, having achieved success by clinching the championship title in 2019. Our youth teams, on the other hand, participate in the NSW NPL2, providing aspiring young footballers with a pathway to develop their skills and pursue their dreams within a competitive and supportive environment.
