Around, and meet with the Club Captain or a delegate. This visit is an opportunity for you to ask questions, learn more about the club, and assess whether it is the right fit for you. During the visit, the club representative will provide you with an application form. You will need to complete this form and submit it along with the required supporting documents, which include proof of identity and proof of financial responsibility.
Once your application is received, it will be reviewed by the Committee, and if approved, you will be granted Provisional Membership status. As a provisional member, you will have access to club facilities and may participate in club matches and competitions under the supervision of a Range Officer. After six months of provisional membership, you may apply for full club membership.
Existing Category H Licence holders who wish to join the St Ives Pistol Club will need to complete the online application form and submit it along with a copy of their current Firearms Licence. A compliance record is maintained throughout the training programme, noting attendance, scores, and progress. At the conclusion of the programme, applicants undergo a written examination to assess their knowledge and understanding.
