Welcome to the Souths Hockey Club Inc website.
Souths Hockey Club as we know it was formed by a group of spirited young lads who believed that they could cut it in the 1960 Mens A1 Grade Competition.
It is reported that many of the A1 teams of the time were heavy with “Veteran” aged players and lacked the foresight to recruit more youthful players.
In 1959, Brothers Mens A Reserve team won its respective topship. With little chance of those lads making A1 Grade the following year, many of them, along with their mates from other clubs formed the youthful and successful SOUTHS.
