Welcome to Southport Yacht Club, the Gold Coast's top sports club located at 1 Macarthur Parade, Main Beach, Queensland. Established in 1946, the club has been an integral part of the community for over 75 years.

Southport Yacht Club has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious 'Hall of Fame Award' from Keno & Clubs Queensland Awards for Excellence. For three consecutive years, the club has been recognised as the 'Best Sports Club' along with additional awards such as the Chef of the Year and Club of the Year (non-gaming) for 2021.

The club boasts a wide range of facilities and offerings, including a variety of restaurants, bars, function spaces, and sailing programmes. With four waterfront locations, members and visitors have access to the Main Beach Clubhouse, which features the only open-air waterfront north-facing restaurant and bar. This picturesque location overlooks a stunning 300-berth marina, making it an ideal venue for conferences, functions, or waterfront weddings.

Oxenford Watersports, situated at Oxenford Lake, serves as a hub for the club's youth tackers and school sailing programmes. Additionally, it offers activities such as paddleboarding, an onsite café, and indoor/outdoor function areas available for hire. This space is perfect for casual meetings or club presentations.

The Hollywell Clubhouse is home to the club's SYC sailing squadron and offers a bar and bistro. It's the perfect place to relax with a cold drink while enjoying the excitement of off-the-beach sailing events.

Southport Yacht Club's fourth location is the private Dux Anchorage on Sth Stradbroke Island. This serene spot provides campgrounds for members to moor their boats and enjoy quality time with family and friends. Watching the sunset behind the beautiful Hinterland while toasting marshmallows in the outdoor fire pit is a memorable experience.
