The Southern Tasmanian Netball Association (STNA) plays a signi cant role in the community and in particular by providing many opportunities for family involvement. The pride of the venue is the twin two court indoor stadiums. Stadium One has retractable grandstands with seating for 1800 patrons. When the grandstands are in place, a single show court for both basketball and netball takes centre stage.
The complex also has six outdoor netball courts.
The Aurora Sports Stadium accommodates a broad range of user groups including the following: Australian National League Netball, Women’s National League Basketball, Home Court of the Hobart Chargers Basketball, Aurora League Gala events, leading League Netball, Roller Derby, Indoor Soccer and Netball and Basketball Clinics.
