ATHLETICS develops motor skills, fitness, and skills. Top sportspeople agree core strength, speed, stamina, and agility developed by athletics during early years assisted growth in key winter sports, while ensuring fitness remained and improved off-season.
OUR Programme is about “personal best results”. Our goal is to see you run faster, jump higher and throw further over the season. Not everyone runs fast, but maybe you love to jump or have the core strength needed to throw. Athletics caters for everyone.
CENTRE FACILITIES 8 lane, 400M round track, separate 8 lane 100M sprint track, Double pits for jump and throw events to ensure minimum waiting between events. Qualified Athletics Australia coaches developing and improving technique, balance, posture, flexibility, and core strength of athletes.
WE COMPETE Saturday at 9am (some Fridays at 5. 30pm) and provide mid-week training allowing children aged 5-17 to learn to run fast, jump high and throw far, building confidence, fitness, and health in a positive environment.
