Southern Highlands JAFC Auskick

Welcome to Southern Highlands JAFC Auskick, a vibrant sports club located in Bowral – Mittagong. With a motto of “Footy, Family, and Fun,” we strive to create an inclusive and enjoyable environment for children to learn and grow their Australian football skills while fostering friendships.

Our season runs from April to September each year, with games taking place on Sundays at our home ground in Loseby Park, Bowral. As a part of the Illawara competition, we have the opportunity to compete against teams from Woonona, Wollongong, Figtree, Dapto, Albion Park, Kiama, and Shellharbour.

For our younger players aged approximately 5–7 years old, we have a dedicated Auskick programme that takes place on Tuesday afternoons at Loseby Park. This programme allows our young athletes to develop their skills and be a part of the action in a supportive and encouraging setting. Training for all teams, including Auskick participants, occurs on Tuesday afternoons from 4:00-5:30pm, providing an excellent opportunity for our younger players to learn from our more senior athletes and be a part of the Hawks Team.
