Southern Field Archers Inc are an archery club located in Adelaide, South Australia. Situated on 17 acres of stunning National Park land in the rolling foothills of Adelaide, the club boasts breathtaking views over the city and its suburban beaches.
The club's two ranges make excellent use of the natural terrain, offering archers a variety of challenging shots including uphill, downhill, and cross gully shots. With its mix of American and Australian 3D targets, ranging from rabbits to water buffalo, members have the opportunity to test their skill and accuracy in a diverse range of scenarios.
At Southern Field Archers, both paper target shooting and 3D events are conducted predominantly at unmarked distances. This provides archers with the chance to fine-tune their distance judgement and hone their precision.
The club offers a comprehensive annual shoot calendar, ensuring that there is always an event or competition to participate in. Whether members are interested in traditional long bows, recurve bows, or the modern compound bows, Southern Field Archers Inc welcomes all archery styles and types of equipment.
Facilities at the club include a fully functional club room, complete with a limited canteen facility (cash payment only), as well as a workshop for members to maintain and repair their equipment. There are also designated practise areas and ample car parking available for the convenience of all members.
