Swimstruct thanks you for your patronage but is now closed for the winter period.
I am pleased to announce that the new owners of SWIMSTRUCT are Treena and Ian Skeggs-Grant.
The couple are highly qualified and skilled, knowledgeable and experienced in the organisation and management of swimming programmes in all facets of ‘Learn to Swim’ and ‘Training Groups’ at the elite level.
Their organisation is registered as ‘SOUTHERN CROSS SWIM PTY LTD’ and it will be co-badged with ‘SWIMSTRUCT’ to help achieve a seamless ‘changeover’.
Treena and Ian have given their assurance that the current structure of SWIMSTRUCT will remain substantially the same.
SWIMSTRUCT has offered ‘learn to swim’ and ‘springboard diving’ classes to the public each year at St Marys Anglican Girls School in Karrinyup since 1968.
My special thanks are to all members of the public who have supported SWIMSTRUCT over a forty-seven year period.
My association with St Marys AGS has been throughout an informal and fruitful one based on mutual acknowledgement and appreciation of what benefits each party had to offer the other – any agreement reached was sealed with a ‘warm handshake’.
Thank you, St. Mary's, for your part in what has been a wonderful association between us over many years – an experience I have thoroughly enjoyed.
A rise in all Tuition Fees has been necessitated by the increase in staff hourly rates and the compulsory payment of staff superannuation contributions by all employers.
The ‘Learn to Swim’ programmes are held under conditions which maximise progress made and the gaining of self-confidence in its participants.
All teachers are either AUSTSWIM or RLSSWA accredited and are selected for their ability to relate to children in an encouraging and enthusiastic manner and to employ effective teaching practises and strategies.
SWIMSTRUCT’s policy is to keep a particular child or group with the same teacher throughout the ten day series unless there is good reason to do otherwise.
The number of children per teacher relates to the age and stage of the learner.
The Tuition Fee charged is dependent upon the type and size of class enrolled in.
Siblings, irrespective of age or stage attained, are programmed to have their respective lesson times concurrently run.
