The season launch event will be held at the Kingsford after training on Thursday, October 13th, with a start time of approximately 7:45pm. This event will include the first selection, captains' announcement(s), speeches, and a president's welcome. Finger food will be provided in the alfresco area.

Another significant event is the Junior Registration Day, which will occur on Wednesday, September 14th, from 5pm to 6:30pm at the South Gawler Football Club. The club is excited to announce the commencement of the 2016 Milo In2Cricket Programme. This programme, facilitated by volunteer Lachlan Hewett, will run for eight weeks from November 1st to December 13th, and is designed specifically for aspiring cricketers aged 5 to 9 years old. Each session will run from 5pm to 6pm, and it is advised that participants arrive 10 minutes early to ensure a prompt start.
