South Coast Taekwondo was established in 1993 into the Taekwondo Jidokwan system under the guidance of the late Mr Dale Eagling (6th Dan WTF) who was the Club's Master Instructor. Throughout the 1990s the Club maintained a strong bond with the Dale Eagling Taekwondo organisation with much valuable guidance being provided by Mr Hugh Eagling who was both the senior black belts' mentor and the Club's grading examiner throughout much of this period. These early foundations placed South Coast Taekwondo in a very strong position to offer the very best in the physical, mental and social training requirements for today's modern Taekwondo students.
With the untimely passing of Master Dale Eagling, the head of Taekwondo Jidokwan in Australia, Master Sung Soo Lee (9th Dan WTF), became South Coast Taekwondo's Master Instructor and today provides the Club's head instructors with the necessary guidance to maintain an uncompromising high standard of teaching.
