South Coast Dog Training Club Inc. is a community all breeds dog training club located in Wollongong, Australia. The club is dedicated to helping people develop positive and responsible relationships with their canine friends, with the ultimate goal of having well-mannered dogs who are valued members of their families and communities.
The club offers obedience classes every Sunday morning, with registration starting at 8:30 am and classes commencing at 9 o'clock. The classes run for approximately 1 hour, with a 15-minute break at the halfway mark. New members are encouraged to join on the first Sunday of the month. In addition to obedience training, these classes provide a fantastic opportunity for socialising dogs and forming the essential bond necessary for their development as obedient and friendly family members.

The club currently runs four different classes, including Induction (held on the first Sunday of the month for new members), Beginners, 1, and 2. Plans are underway to develop a more advanced class and introduce other activities to further enhance the training experience.
In addition to obedience training, the South Coast Dog Training Club Inc. offers agility classes on Friday evenings, starting at 5:30 pm for a 6 o'clock start. Participants are requested to help set up and put away equipment. These classes also run for approximately 1 hour.
For dog owners interested in flyball, the club organises flyball sessions on Sundays. Registration begins at 10:15 am, with classes commencing at 10:30. New members are encouraged to join on the last Sunday of the month.
Membership to the South Coast Dog Training Club Inc. can be obtained by attending the sign-up day. New members are required to bring a pre-filled membership form, vaccination papers, membership fees, and plenty of treats for their furry friends. Membership fees for new members from October 2023 are as follows: Single ($30), Family ($35), Concession ($15), and Junior ($10).
The cost of participating in the various classes is $5 per session for obedience, agility, and flyball. Payment for these classes can be made in cash.
