The South Australian Revolver and Pistol Association Inc. (SARPA) is the principal body for sport pistol shooting in South Australia. Established in September 1949, SARPA is responsible for the growth and development of the safe and challenging sport of Pistol Shooting in the state. SARPA is a member of Pistol Australia (PA), which provides direct access to 15 different matches, including categories for athletes with disabilities.
These matches are graded to suit members of all skill levels, from club to elite.

The association is administered by the SARPA Executive Committee, which consists of eight annually elected members, as well as the Directors of the Coaching and Referee Councils. These dedicated individuals handle the day-to-day business of the sport with the assistance of an Office Administrator.
SARPA's statement of purpose outlines its objectives, which include promoting and educating members in the safe and competent handling of legal firearms, fostering competitive and social target pistol shooting, providing coaching and training opportunities, promoting the correct implementation of competition rules, and cultivating a positive public attitude towards responsible firearm ownership.
For those interested in officiating, SARPA offers training and officiating opportunities, which can be accessed through the Training & Officiating TAB on their website. Additional resources such as the association's Constitution, Policies, Procedures, and more can be found under the SARPA tab.
SARPA regularly hosts events and competitions, which can be accessed by clicking on the Events Tab on their website. The shooting calendar is regularly updated to include all upcoming open shoots. Results and photos from open competitions and state titles are available under the RESULTS tab.
