The South Adelaide Rugby League Club Inc. was founded in 1976 and started by the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs, who continued to sponsor the club up until the mid 80s, when the club become independent, and today is the only original South Australian club left playing in the South Australian Rugby League competition. In 2005 the club celebrated our 30th Anniversary and named a 30th Anniversary team consisting of past and present players.
