Established in Melbourne, Somerville Football & Netball Club is a proud member of AFL South East. We are dedicated to promoting and fostering the love for both Australian football and netball in our local area. For our football teams, we have a dedicated Football Director, Troy Merks, who oversees the overall operations of our men's football programme. Leading our senior team is Senior Coach Chris Gamble, supported by Reserves Coach Daryl Swinburne and U/19s Coach Dayne Thomson. With their expertise and guidance, our players are able to improve their skills, develop strong team dynamics, and compete at their best.
In netball, our teams are led by a group of passionate and experienced coaches. Our 17&U team is coached by Kristy Marshall and Maria Neophytou, while our A, B, C, and D grade teams are led by Mathew Weaver, Becky Dixon, and Kathy Cross. These coaches nurture and support our netball players, helping them grow into well-rounded athletes and achieve their goals.
