Skydive Territory

Skydive Territory is a sports club located in Coomalie Shire, Australia, home to the Darwin Parachute Club. Established in 1974, it is one of the few remaining traditional skydiving clubs in the country. As a not-for-profit organisation, the club is operated by dedicated volunteers who are passionate about the sport of skydiving.

One of the notable events hosted by Skydive Territory is Rel Week, one of Australia's longest-running skydiving festivals. Originating in Katherine in 1977, the event has become a biennial occasion, allowing volunteers to take a well-deserved break and participate in other skydiving events around the world. Rel Week attracts national and international skydivers who seek top-quality coaching, excellent facilities, and the best atmosphere.

Located at the Batchelor Airstrip, Batchelor, approximately 100 km south of Darwin, the Drop Zone offers a convenient and breathtaking location for skydiving. To get there, visitors can travel on the Stuart Highway for about 80 km, then take the Batchelor Rd turn off to the west. After a short journey of around 12 km, they will find the airstrip and Drop Zone on the left, just past the turn-off to the town centre.

Skydive Territory also offers club membership for those interested in becoming part of the Darwin Parachute Club. Membership provides access to a range of benefits and the opportunity to join the club's vibrant community of skydiving enthusiasts.
