The school was created by Shihan John Beckman, 8th Dan, in 1982. Shihan Beckman has been training in the art of ju-jitsu for over 40 years. His mentor, Shihan Jan De Jong, had a huge influence in the shaping of the Senjutsu Ryu system. And now his son, Shihan Hans De Jong, is a technical advisor to Shihan Beckman along with all the Senjutsu Ryu instructors and students.
