Scone Golf Club is a sports club located in the Upper Hunter Valley of NSW, in the town of Scone. It is situated at White Park, within town limits, and offers stunning views of the surrounding hills. The club is conveniently located, only a two-hour drive north of Newcastle on the New England Highway, and three hours from Sydney.
The club features a new 9-hole golf course that has been open for play since May 2019. Visitors are welcome to enjoy a round of golf at the club. It is important to note that Scone Golf Club is a small club and does not have a Golf Professional. Competition Golf is arranged by the Scone Golf Committee, and bookings for weekly and Saturday competitions can be made at the Sporties Club in person or by phone.
For social players, there is a ticket machine located near the practise green where payments can be made. Pull buggies are available for hire during Sporties Club opening hours, and there are also 2 electric carts available for hire by calling a specific phone number.
In addition to golf, Scone Golf Club is affiliated with the Scone Sporties Club, a sub-club of the Scone RSL Club. The Scone Sporties Club offers a range of amenities and services, including a café and restaurant called Mitani. Members and visitors can enjoy a meal or refreshments at the club before or after their golf rounds.
