Welcome to Samurai Karate Belmont, a sports club in Perth that offers traditional Japanese Karate training in the style of Shukokai. With a lineage that dates back to the teachings of Senseis’ Kawata, Tani, and Mabuni, our association has been in Australia since 1980 and is proudly affiliated with Japan.
At Samurai Karate Belmont, we believe in changing lives through the practise of Karate. Our dynamic, explosive, and powerful Martial Art is suitable for Men, Women, and Children of all ages. Led by Shihan Darren Olsen, a 7th Dan & Australian Chief instructor, our team of highly qualified Instructors are recognised all over the world.
We offer classes for all ages and abilities, catering to both beginners and advanced practitioners. Our training programmes focus on personal development in a safe, positive, and rewarding environment. Alongside traditional Shukokai Karate, we also offer development in Sports Karate, where we have a history of producing National and International Champions.
