The Salvation Army Basketball Association of Victoria exists to be a belonging community committed to the work of caring for people, transforming lives, making disciples and reforming society, in the context of engaging people in their passion for basketball.

·Facilitating a competition that allows people to engage in clean, healthy sports activities within The Salvation Army.

·Providing an opportunity for Clubs to develop connexions with their local community, engaging people with their passion for basketball.

·Providing an opportunity for players to be introduced to the person of Jesus Christ.

·Assisting Clubs in developing player’s character and spiritual maturity.

· Providing opportunities for Clubs to engage in mission activities that reform society.
