The club has a strong focus on junior development and has been conducting training classes during each school term since 1994. These classes are open to juniors between the ages of 5 and 17 who have a desire to learn and enjoy the sport.

The classes run for eight consecutive weeks and have a cost of $10 per one-hour session. They take place at the Salisbury Recreation Precinct on Friday nights at 6pm and 7pm, as well as Saturday mornings at 8:30am, 9:30am, and 10:30am.

The coaching team at Salisbury Tennis Club is highly experienced and accredited. They have Tennis Coaches Australia Level 1 certification and international coaching experience, including eight years of coaching in the USA. They also have certifications in disability coaching and first aid. With their many years of coaching experience and working with youth, they are dedicated to providing quality instruction and support to all players.

The club also offers team competitions and practise sessions. Team competitions take place on Friday evenings from 6:30pm and Saturdays from 8:30am to 12:30pm during summer, and 9:00am to 12:30pm during winter. Team practise and coaching sessions are held on Tuesdays from 6pm to 7pm.
