Sakura Ryu JuJitsu teaching traditional Martial Arts in Brisbane Australia. The traditional JuJitsu of ancient Japan, once practised by the Samurai. Now in these peaceful times, being learned by adults, teenagers and younger children. Developing discipline, self-confidence, social skills, as well as the strongest self-defence principles.
We are a not for profit organisation dedicated to training students in the Martial Art of JuJitsu which is a very credible and complete self-defence, used by the Ancient Samurai. Our teachings are traditional, having been passed down by way of master to teacher to student for many generations.
JuJitsu has a very colourful history involving many twists and turns throughout many centuries, cultures, and countries. Those who expanded the Martial Art by spreading JuJitsu throughout the world, found that it was difficult to teach to those who couldn’t speak Japanese. They either had to teach them Japanese or change their teaching methods.
