S.S.A.A. Eidsvold Branch Inc

SSAA Eidsvold Branch Inc is a sports club located in the North Burnett Regional of Queensland. As a part of the Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (SSAA) Queensland, the Eidsvold Branch aims to promote the shooting sports and protect firearms owners' interests.

One of the main focuses of the club is junior shooting, as they believe that shooting is an all-inclusive, family sport. They offer a specialised programme for juniors aged 11 years and older, providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge for safe and enjoyable shooting activities.

In addition to competition shooting, the club also recognises hunting as a great pastime and one of the major reasons to own a firearm in Queensland. They encourage hunters and provide support for this activity through various programmes and initiatives.

The club also offers opportunities for those interested in air rifle shooting. Modern air rifles are accurate and specialised, offering a unique shooting experience for enthusiasts of all levels.

For those interested in re-enacting the lifestyle and firearms of the world in the Muzzleloading Golden Age from 1500 to 1865, the club offers the Rendezvous discipline. This discipline allows members to explore and experience the historical aspects of shooting in a safe and controlled environment.

SSAA Eidsvold Branch Inc is proud to be a part of SSAA Queensland, the state's largest and preeminent shooting organisation. With over 68,000 members, SSAA Queensland is the leading body representing licenced firearms owners in Queensland.

Apart from promoting shooting sports, the club also supports hunting activities and is actively involved in the Farmer Assist programme, which aims to assist farmers through responsible and ethical hunting practises.
