Runcorn School Swimming Club

Runcorn Swimming Club is based at the Runcorn Primary School Pool situated at 646 Beenleigh Road Runcorn. Entry to the pool can be found on Lampson Street near the intersection with Mains Road. The club was formed in 1980 as subcommittee of the local Parents and Citizens Association and has continued to grow. The facilities include a six lane 25m pool, it is heated by solar and gas to 27 degrees all year round. The pool has a small grand stand which is perfect for Friday nightclub races, local swimming carnivals and school swimming carnivals. There is a clubhouse and a gymnasium. The club caters for swimmers of all levels from learn to swim classes to squad structure that ranges from one level above learn to swim right through to State and National Level competition. The benefits of this pool and our club are taken up families from the Runcorn Primary School, however many families come from surrounding schools and newcomers from everywhere are welcome. Now is the perfect time to get in some extra training to get ahead of the competition for your next school swimming carnival.
