Royal Australian Naval Reserve Rifle Club

The Royal Australian Naval Reserve Rifle Club (RANRRC) is a vibrant sports club located in Sydney that caters to enthusiasts of Rifles, Pistols, Rimfire Metallic Silhouette, and Shotguns. The club's primary focus is on rifle competitions, which attract both service rifle shooters and hunters seeking snap-shooting and moving target practise. Additionally, RANRRC also offers IPSC Pistol and Rimfire Metallic Silhouette, as well as Shotgun competitions.

If you already possess a New South Wales (NSW) firearms licence, you are welcome to participate in our competitions as a visitor. However, if you do not currently hold an NSW firearms licence, you can still experience the thrill of shooting by filling out a NSW Firearms Registry P650 Form and shooting with us under proper supervision.

At RANRRC, our mission is multifold. First and foremost, we aim to provide instruction in the safe and efficient handling of military, military-style, and commercial rifles and pistols to our members. Additionally, we strive to promote competitions focused on shooting proficiency, particularly as an aid to National Defence. Moreover, we seek to foster shooting as a sport and recreational activity, thereby encouraging active participation among our members.
