Rowes Bay Archery Club of Townsville, established in 1978, is a renowned sports club in the vibrant city of Townsville, Australia. Originally located in Oak Valley, the club moved to Rowes Bay for 20 years and is now situated at Philp Park, adjacent to Bicentennial Park in Hermit Park. The club is also currently developing new facilities at their clubhouse in West End.

Founder and President d'Arcy Clayton has an impressive coaching record, having coached nine members to win World Championship titles. Additionally, he has trained countless individuals who have gone on to achieve local, State, and National titles in archery. Lessons at the club are conducted by four World Champion members, and private coaching sessions can be booked for individuals or groups upon request.

The club offers a wide range of activities and events to cater to archery enthusiasts of all levels. Club shoots take place regularly at their practise range in West End, which is currently being upgraded. The club is also in the process of developing a new field and practise range at Philp Park, which promises to provide an even better archery experience for its members.

One of the highlights of the club is their Come and Try Days, an annual event designed to introduce the sport of archery to the wider community. Participants of all ages and skill levels are welcome to take part in a day of archery fun.
