Welcome to Rock It Climbing Centre Tasmania! With two venues in Hobart, we offer a wide range of climbing experiences for climbers of all ages and skill levels.
Our Hobart location on Bathurst Street is perfect for top rope and lead climbing. Whether you're a seasoned climber or just starting out, our walls, reaching heights of 9 metres, provide a thrilling experience. You can climb with a belayer or try out our 11 auto-belay systems for a solo climb. We also have a bouldering area for those who prefer shorter walls and don't require ropes or a partner.
For younger climbers, our Hobart venue offers kids parties and groups activities. We have a separate boulder wall designed specifically for kids, with exciting additional features to enhance their climbing experience. Additionally, we have 10 tunnels where kids and the young at heart can crawl, twist, and slide their way through.
Rock It Climbing Centre Tasmania is not just a climbing facility. We are a community-driven business founded by a team of passionate climbers in 2013. We have since grown to become a hub for climbers of all levels, from beginners to international competitors. Our facility spans three stories, providing ample space and variety for climbers.
In addition to the climbing areas, we have a café area where you can relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee from our friends at Zimmah Coffee. It's the perfect spot to unwind after a climbing session or watch others conquer the walls.
Our Hobart venue also offers various amenities to enhance your climbing experience. We have birthday party rooms equipped with tables, sinks, fridges, microwaves, and pie ovens for special occasions. Our training area includes Beastmaker hang boards, campus boards, a 35-degree training wall filled with holds, and a pegboard. We also provide training equipment such as rowing machines, spin bikes, rings, paralettes, and TRXs.
Additionally, we have bathrooms, change rooms, lockers, and a baby change table for your convenience.
At Rock It Climbing Centre Tasmania, we prioritise safety and require all participants to sign our facility waiver before getting involved. If you're a minor under 18, a parent or guardian must sign the waiver on your behalf. You can sign the waiver at our reception or save time by filling it out in advance on our website.
