About

Riding for the Disabled Association of Qld Inc (Lockyer Valley) is a sports club based in the Lockyer Valley Regional area. Their mission is to provide individuals with disabilities the opportunity to experience the joy and exhilaration of horse riding. It is widely recognised that participating in sporting activities, such as horse riding, can greatly enhance a person's quality of life, regardless of their level of disability.

By being a part of RDA, individuals with disabilities have the chance to actively participate in a sport rather than just observing. Some RDA riders even go on to compete in national and international level sporting events. For others, the emotional and physical benefits of horse riding are rewarding enough in themselves.

The impact that RDAQ makes across Queensland is significant, with 18 centres, 65 coaches, 700 volunteers, 100+ horses, and 554 riders. The organisation was established in 1985 and continues to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

To learn more about the impact that RDAQ has in Queensland, individuals can visit their “Get Involved” page. There, they can find information on how to volunteer for the centre, donate to the centre, or become a sponsor.

Lockyer Valley RDA is proud to offer various programmes and events. Their website features a gallery of images and testimonials from riders and volunteers showcasing their experiences. Interested individuals can also stay updated with the latest news and events through the “What's On” section.

For those who want to keep up to date with Lockyer Valley RDA, they can subscribe to their mailing list. The website also provides contact information for those who wish to get in touch, including the physical address, phone number, and email address.

Riding for the Disabled Association of Qld Inc (Lockyer Valley) is dedicated to providing individuals with disabilities the opportunity to engage in the sport of horse riding, promoting a sense of joy, empowerment, and physical well-being.
