Redcliffe Triathlon Club

Redcliffe Triathlon Club (RTC) is a sports club located in Brisbane, Queensland. Celebrating 31 years of existence, the club's mission is to foster the growth of triathlon in South East Queensland. With a focus on providing an open, supportive, educational, and healthy competitive environment, RTC aims to bring together athletes of all skill levels and abilities.

Family participation is highly valued at RTC, with the club encouraging the involvement of the entire family and the preservation of family values. The safety, both physical and emotional, of its members is a top priority.

RTC members are spread throughout the Moreton Bay region and train at various venues including Suttons Beach, North Lakes, and Murrumba Downs. The club offers a training calendar that specifies training locations and times for members to make the most of their training sessions.

The club offers training sessions in swimming, which is the first leg of a triathlon, as well as cycling and running—the second and third legs respectively. RTC also organises training sessions called “brick,” which aim to help athletes integrate all three disciplines into one practise session.

For those with an appetite for a bigger challenge, RTC provides training and support for Ironman 70. 3 and full Ironman races. The club prides itself on the guidance and support its coaches provide, ensuring that every member, regardless of ability or disability, is treated as an equal and feels included.
