Red Hill Football Netball Club

1929 season. Throughout the years, the Red Hill Football Netball Club has had its ups and downs, but has always remained a strong presence in the local community.

Today, the club is known for its dedication to providing a sense of belonging and support for its members. With three men's AFL teams, one women's AFL team, and five Netball teams, there is a place for everyone to get involved and be a part of the Red Hill family.

As a not-for-profit association, the club relies on the support of the Mornington Peninsula community. Sponsorships, community fundraising, and the hard work of volunteers all contribute to the club's growth and ability to achieve its goals. One of these goals is to develop young players into leaders through competitive team environments.

The history of the Red Hill Football Netball Club dates back to its founding in 1929. The club held its inaugural meeting at the Mechanics Institute Hall, with Mr George Heggens as the chairperson and the election of office bearers. In its first year, the club made it to the finals under the coaching of Alf Hunt. The following years saw more success, with Fred Vollk leading the team to four consecutive finals appearances and personal achievements, such as winning the league B Grade goal kicking and the Whitlock medal for the best and fairest in the 1929 season.

Red Hill FNC is proud to be a Child Safe Organisation and acknowledges the Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the lands where they live, play, and work. The club is committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all members.
