RainbowDance is Sydney’s premier LGBTIQ dance company.
We run dance classes across Sydney, host social dance events, offer private lessons as well as wedding dance tuition, especially for the rainbow community. Our mission is to provide a safe, fun and completely inclusive Latin and Ballroom dance experience for all Sydney’s rainbow community.
Come with your friends, your partner or just by yourself as we structure our classes to be very social and make it a priority to give everyone the chance to dance.
Mainstream dance classes focus on gender based roles only, and we know how frustrating this can be, so there will be no ‘Female’ steps or ‘Male’ steps to be seen. You may choose to learn as either the lead or the follow and in time maybe even learn both!
The fun and interactive tuition makes learning to lead or follow your dance partner an enjoyable experience and also provides you with a fitness alternative to yet another gym.
