Are you the owner of Pyrenees Petanque Club?
From its beginning, the Pyrenees Petanque Club has used the median strip between two carriageways of the Sunraysia Highway in the centre of Avoca to stage events. More recently the Club has established a new home and playing area at the Avoca Recreation Reserve. Although not large with about 30 members, the Club has staged and hosted over 40 major tournaments. The Club hosts two major tournaments each year, one on the third weekend in November (Triples) and one on the third weekend in March (Doubles).
Through its activities the Club has pioneered interest in, and growth of, many other regional Clubs. The Club usually meets fortnightly at 10. 30am on a Sunday morning for social play. Everyone is welcome.
