Established in 1910 the Preston Pirates Baseball Club is a Division 2 member of the Victorian Summer Baseball League (VSBL) which conducts Junior and Senior baseball competitions between October and March annually.
The Club holds a Come & Try Day in late August annually with training commencing in September.
New Members across all genders and age groups are welcome to join at any time throughout the season and join a team.
For players new to baseball or for players who have been playing the game for some time, the Club provides a structured training program which supports players develop an understanding of the game and skills in a nurturing and respectful environment.
The Club is a founding member of the Twins Baseball Charter.
Via the Twins Charter junior players have the opportunity for additional development and to be selected for teams that play at the Victorian State Championships with an opportunity to advance to the National Championships and on to represent Australia at World Series tournaments in the USA.
In the 2021-2022 Summer Season (October 2021 - March 2022) the Preston Pirates Baseball Club will provide opportunity to be a member of the Pirates community and play baseball across:
JUNIOR
T-Ball - 5-6 years
Minor League Baseball - 7-12 years
Little League Baseball - 9-12 years
Intermediate League Baseball - 11-13 years
Junior League Baseball - 12-14 years
Senior League Baseball - 13-16 Years
Under 18 Baseball - 17 -18 years
Junior games are played Sunday mornings throughout Summer.
Training is conducted at the Club's base located at the La Trobe University Sports Fields across two weeknights.

Senior games are predominantly played Sunday afternoons with some games also played Saturday afternoons and occasional mid week night games.
Training is conducted at the Clubs base located at the La Trobe University Sports Fields across two - three weeknights.
