Port Melbourne Netball Club is a thriving sports club located in Melbourne. The club was formed in 2014 and is run by passionate and dedicated volunteers. With a strong commitment to skill development and a focus on inclusivity, the club provides an enjoyable and supportive environment for players of all ages.
The Port Melbourne Netball Club has 21 competing teams, ranging from ages 5 to open ages. The teams play at various locations, including the Parkville State Netball Centre, Riverside Netball Courts, and the Albert Park Indoor Sports Centre. The club offers a NetSetGo programme, which is a two-tiered junior development programme for children who want to start their netball journey. The programme allows players to progress through different age groups, such as under 11's, under 13's, under 15's, under 17's, and Opens for 18+.
Additionally, the club has a mixed team that competes in the Merri-bek competition on Friday nights.
The club's committee plays a crucial role in managing the operations of the Port Melbourne Netball Club. Comprised of dedicated parents who volunteer their time, the committee ensures the club remains a supportive and inclusive environment for all members. Their responsibilities include managing venues, communications, logistics, and finances. With nearly 250 members each season, the committee is always in need of additional volunteers.

The 2023 committee includes President Tim Matthews, Vice President Suzanne Morrison, Treasurer Rachael Benison, Administrator Manda Rainbird, Marketing/Communications officer Tamzine Walshe, Sponsorship officer Suzanne Morrison, Events officer Midge Bateup, Safety Officer Eugene Dapper, Uniforms officer Sophie Templeton, and Venues officer Anthony Barnes. The committee would also like to acknowledge the dedication of Anna Sweeney, who manages the coaching department, and Justinne Liberty, who offers guidance and support to the team.
