The Port Lincoln Rifle Club, located in the District Council of Lower Eyre Peninsula, is a thriving sports club with a rich history. Established in 1958 by 12 founding members, the club has grown its membership from 30 to 120 active members since 2011, including a significant number of junior members. Throughout the years, the Port Lincoln Rifle Club has hosted numerous events, including the Mini Masters Games in 2001, the 2015 and 2016 Steel Challenge State Titles, and State Team Selection matches for IPSC. The club is highly regarded and is utilised by the police and security industry for training purposes. Additionally, TAFE students utilise the club for the practical test required to obtain their gun licence.
